Insurance

At KeenEye Family Vision, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept most major health insurance providers, as well as some vision insurance providers. We are happy to make the insurance process as easy as possible for you. If you have any questions regarding your coverage, or to see if we are in-network with your insurance provider, please let us know.

Vision Insurance

The knowledgeable staff at KeenEye Family Vision is experienced in working with vision insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your vision insurer to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits. While everyone’s insurance plans are different, most plans are designed to help with the cost of the exam and materials, such as, contact lenses and glasses. To find out what your vision insurance will help with, call or stop by one of our offices and our staff members will be happy to help you.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Many employers offer Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) options to employees. Sometimes these are referred to as cafeteria plans and are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans. These plans are designed to let you save money in an account, pre-tax, to pay for additional medical expenses such as eye exams, glasses and contacts. Check with your benefits administrator to see if you are eligible for this program. FSA’s can typically be used in conjunction with any vision insurance plan to offset any out-of-pocket costs on your behalf.

Other Payment Options

Our optometry staff understands that cost can be a concern when evaluating vision care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to maintaining proper eye health and good vision. We accept various forms of payment and are able to discuss financing options with you prior to any examination. At KeenEye Family Vision, we accept cash, check, major credit cards, and Care Credit as forms of payment. Care Credit is a preferred health care credit card for financing and payment options for out-of-pocket medical expenses. To find out more about your payment options, give us a call and we will be happy to discuss them with you.
